Red Velvet
Red Velvet - Stormwolf
A naughty little festive number from a few years back just to add a little spice to a somewhat stale Christmas.
.
Come to me, now
while my moon is high.
I am a stranger in this
frosted, frigid land.
I never was this Ice Queen
nor wear the mantle well.
We have dreams yet to be woven,
works of our art
needing expression.
Soft and fluid as water-colour
rich and nourishing
as oils, splashed
upon my canvass…
reckless and abandoned.
Let’s melt into indigo,
linger in these encompassing
shadows of yearning.
Moving slowly,
restrained,
as over tightened strings…
Then
liberated, exuberant!
before that shared melody
of Titanium White fusion.
Deep,
deep, is my desire for you
Dress me,
in red velvet.

After this rich and evocative poem I can never think of you as the Ice Queen!
Haha no comment! 😉
Thanks for reading and commenting.

red velvet will never be overused when sensuality is involved. dress everything in / with it, I don’t understand Titanium White fusion what is this all about, asking for a friend.
very inspiring poem
tee hee

Gulp! 😉
Titanium white fusion is the synergistic explosion of orgasm which can be of a very spiritual nature. Say losing contact with all surroundings plus release ..well you know. I hope your friend gets it now hahaha

Plus I was in keeping with the theme of works of art. Titanium being a name for some white paint. Tee hee
This is a great poem Alison
It can be seen as coaxing a lover to get to work or an expression of lusting for someone and also it could be a wifey trying to inject new life onto the marriage bed
Super stuff and so much better the plain old Dulux white 🙂 🙂 🙂
Bugger Dulux! 😉 Far too run of the mill.
I like the way it can be read by different people. Like almost every one of my poems this was written about my life experience.

Nice. Red is the color of passion and a yuletide color.
Absolutely!

Aww bless you Allen. I am behind in my reading as my pc has gone on a go slow and everything is taking ages until my son can come and help hopefully!
He would of course be mortified if he ever read this! but no fear of that. My family never read my poetry.
Merry Christmas. Better times are almost at the door..but first the trials to come but I am expecting massive changes very soon.
