My Garden.

It’s not a fancy garden, it

didn’t want to be, I made it for

the wildlife, the birds, my dog

and me.

It doesn’t want a perfect lawn,

posh fencing or a ‘plan’.

Of neatly weeded borders, its

never been a fan.

It likes to grow some ivy,

where birds’ nest in the hedge,

dots the lawn with wild flowers,

plants daisies at the edge.

So we get on most happily…

the garden, dog and me.
