Candle. Sun. Mon. Candle.  Tue. Tue. Sun.  Till. Fifty. Viewed. Pissing. Fear.  Stench.  As good as dead.  Chicken skinned.  Plucked.  Bloated. Giblets for legs.  Occasional guard.  Maybe first time.  Smashes child’s face. Then quiet.  Candles to be ignited.  Others. Just others.  Corridor.  Multiple doors.  Mon. Tue. Wed.  Thur.  Fri. Sat. Sun.  Three.  Four.  To a room.  Will wait.  Man. Equals. Power.

This is chilling. There is a brooding brutality and savagery here, and runs through the previous pieces as well, which is disturbing but makes for compelling reading.

Thanks…first time novelist…trying to write…not sure how many words a novel needs….hoping to write till the end of the year and see where we are…
