All Our Tomorrows Today

From the eerie quite of our lives

From the corners of our globe.

People sing from roof tops,

Others fear to venture in voice, in soul.

Unheard tapping, weaving the  web,

Keys are rapped as panic sets.

We headless chickens roam alone.

The rumbles of life once heard…

People, trains and planes

Scurried across our lands.

Amidst madding crowds,

That once gathered loud,

All disappeared in a blink.

Fixed in isolation

In fear of violation,

The café owner pours a lonely drink…
