The Carnage of love

Deep in my thoughts, I often speculate,

Gone are the days of love to be honest.

In today’s digital world I discern the”lust love”omnipresent,

The meaning of love now a day is hard to comprehend.

Gone are days of visual love, where visions used to alleviate,

Presently only corporal love prevails in existence.

Gone are the days of penning letters to your beloved,

Now a dumb device, the smartphone fritters as virtual cupid.

Gone are the days when scribbling feelings on paper occurred phenomenally,

Now we just scribble on our device and block if the answer is negative, vague and paranormal.

Gone are the days when we use to write old sonnets to propose,

Now we dabble with the sentiments of the other soul.

Gone are the days when solely sight would ignite current in one’s body,

Now, we have a backup of every rejected proposal to conquest every hourly,(Tu Nahi Toh aur sahi)

There is sheer murder of the emotion of love seen everywhere,

Lust has overtaken true love, it’s indeed bizarre.
