Should I Go?
Why, thank you,
I’d love to come..
But would I?
a lone voice
caught in the song
of many, slightly
out of tune
and out of
time, missing
the beat they
all hear.
Standing
silent in
the shadows.

A dilemma that many self-effacing people face, questioning their own worth and doubtful of being able to make a useful contribution to a society with which they don;t feel any affinity.
A point well made, Sue.
Luigi x
Thank you Luigi, my daughter loves open house parties in the garden, so apart from my other daughter and her family most guests are villagers unknown to me, and all are couples, I’m not. Hence the poem, give me space and freedom any day. Xx
I could connect with the poem instantly. The lines are so agile and nimble they have an audiovisual effect on the reader’s mind. Well done.
Supratik
That’s very kind of you and much appreciated, thank you Supratik, sue. 🙂
