I slept with a girl (revised version)

She was naked, slender, elegant.

Standing before a mirror brushing

her curly natural raven-black hair.

She giggled across the bedroom rug

lifted the bed sheet. Slid beside me.

The headboard tattooed against the wall

in time with our grunting and gasping.

She stretched a hand towards a drawer

where she hid fluffy handcuffs away

I took chocolate cake from the fridge,

spread it over her. Nuzzled it off.

I slept with a girl. We did not make love.
