Never again to chide
The road ahead is narrow,
The fastest way to uncertainty.
Directionless we press ahead.
It twists , it whines like a hungered wolf.
Leafy lanes and open space.
Memories of past trips left apace.
Care and judgment steers me now.
Life once free wheeled,
I was living in a fable world.
As I drove the long straight road.
No more will I hide or helplessly decide,
Brakes firmly applied, never again to chide!
