The sweetness fades as evening sets

 

We walk on carpets of green,Wandering through this splendor,
Amongst the morning dew.
Moments shared as we look to the sky
Seeking light together.
Rain seeps to feed.
Time gathers at a pace!
The colours change,
Petals form a tight embrace,
Dropping their heads to rest.
The sunlight leaves,
We part our ways and pray we’ll meet again.
