parting thought

Inspired by the first murder in the ‘Lewis’ pilot show  🙂 I think perhaps the 2nd version is less poor but it’s only a lighthearted black humour piece.

I would not mind that much

if some killer sneaked in

and shot me through the head

while I was fast asleep.

I would kind of welcome

dying by ‘friendly fire’

say an old amigo

taking aim, waxing me

‘pro bono publico’.
