Where is Thy Land?

In darkish fervour;

Tainted moon …

Painted moments,

Gone too soon.

Laugh out loud!

No hand in hand …

Waiting moments,

My aim too proud?

Thy tarnished wings

To challenge sun …

A cry out loud;

Piano sings …

A silent smile,

And eyes turned blue;

To cast a spell …

Let’s pause a while.

Thou lie awake,

In bloom refined …

Of dark and heart;

My senses take!

No words of sand;

No melody …

An eve to trust …

Where is thy land?

“Where is thy land?”, I think you mean.

Aye, thou hast made a goodly job of thy editing.

I was hoping my Mimetic Moments to be published today but alas! for some reason the poem was not published, I wonder what happened, not that it was for the poetry challenge, but the poem would become a triptych for the challenge, and I wanted to have the first one (old enough) published before the poetry challenge part.

well done Fred!

this is not a contest, it used to be something like a contest, there is no other prize other than selecting a person to continue challenging and even that doesn’t always work or is one of the rules. basically you can just go set a challenge whenever you want. I suppose if there are too many open challenges and people start complaining somebody will become a moderator and set rules.

Diary of Dreams style of music for this one (in my opinion of course), probably needs a male voice. Has gothic vibes.

the lyrics in my opinion again, should come after you find the music, I think it’s wrong the other way around. I think that Pulp worked like that the band found the music Jarvis wrote the lyrics.
yep.

music is more inspiring and should come first.
