Don’t make It futile (we owe no less).

Families disunited.
Countries disjointed.
Our Worlds dysfunctional.
Why did so many give
So much for so many
Seventy five years ago.
We owe it to their
Memory to embrace 
Each others differences,
To rise above selfishness,
To live our lives as one.
Throw of the shackles 
Placed on our shoulders
By those who govern,
And say to those with thoughts
Of war and power you are dismissed.
At the end of this day we remember
The brave, not those that cause
And support global conflict.
RlP we will never forget you…
As the sunsets and  the moon 
Casts its long shadows
We will never forget the brave…
