I am living on subsidence

Understanding our times…..

I am living on subsidence
causing damage to my structure
and views of the world.
 
I am hollowed out
by anguish and anger
about change in the scaffolding
of ancient beliefs.
 
Is it my eyes cannot see
as clearly as in earlier years,
or me being brainwashed
by the drum of the media
telling me how to think?
