Amigos e inimigos

“Should we truly forget those who have spurned us for another’s ear

Or think and consider them in this the coming year?

Maybe their friendship has chilled like the cold nights of winter,

And shunned as many plus me.

Shall we reflect just this once

Show the hand of friendship

And toast to all acquaintance past and present,

For the sake of times gone by?”
