The colours suck the life from you
It’s a standard that I fail to figure.
Something borrowed and one is blue.
Falsely flies above our heads.
Changed to suit situations of note.
One gets a cross to bare.
Whilst another adorns the waves,
Parked in the corner on the strangest of days.
Across countries with little to share.
Green white and orange is another story to be told.
One country united behind the three colours.
