PayPal vs Payhip

Bloody annoying that my new book on PayHip has had 130 viewings but anybody who wanted to buy it couldn't because PayPal won't validate my account unless I link it to our bank account, which I won't. And they won't validate my PayPal account (which I've used for years) until I send them the code they're sending me on my next MasterCard statement. Which hasn't arrived.

I just finished another book and put it on PayHip. Maybe I should make them all free.

I JUST MADE THEM ALL FREE!

That is how I felt years ago, but I simply opened a new bank account just for Paypal,  which is not used for anything else. with only a few £s in it!     As it fills up, I can just transfer it elsewhere, so there is no great risk involved.     Bob

Good  idea, but the immensely profitable Canadian banks' charges would probably leave me owing them. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Today, I hit the £2,000 mark in Payhip takings.    Payhip picked up £100 in commission fees, and Paypal quite a bit more, possibly more like £300, but still a good profit margin.
