Hi folks. Thank you.
 Sorry about delay in replying. 
 I have had to dash up to Nairn to 
be with my mum who is now on palliative
 care. ?

Oops i don't know how my last comment got so mangled. 

Just to say I will be reading and commenting but at the moment taking one day at a time as had to dash home as my mum is slipping away.

I have  missed the site and it seems to have changed a lot so will take time to get acquainted and see where everyone is.

But for now, my priorities are more pressing here.

Update on my situation. After three weeks of sitting by my mum's 'deathbed' she started to eat tiny amounts again. It has been incredibly hard for all concerned, as for most of that time my sister and I were simply waiting for 'the call' from the care home and spending every day by her bed as she hung onto a life she no longer wants. It was excruciating but in the end I simply had to head back to Edinburgh but am on standby for heading north again soon. 

So everything is in a suspended state... then to hear of weefats...taken too soon... ?  ? 

Does not make sense in some ways. I am very sad.
