Gold Dust Magazine seeking short stories
We're putting together the summer edition of Gold Dust and for some reason we've had a huge number of poems submitted but far fewer short stories. If any of you would like to submit a story we would be very interested to see it. It needs to be a new one, i.e. not previously published here or anywhere else, and the absolute word limit is 3,000. We prefer stories in the region of 2,000 - 2,500 words. We are looking for either 'literary fiction' (character driven and with some kind of emotional power) or comedy (which needs to be really good). Short plays are also welcome.
We have a reputation for setting the bar pretty high which we are determined to retain.
If you would like to have a look at some of the 32 past issues they're all available for free download from here: http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/golddustmagazine
