We have just heard the very sad news that UKA regular weefatfella passed away last week.

Andrea received an email from his daughter today.

We send love, deepest sympathies and thoughts to Paul's family and friends.

Here is Paul's archive of writing:

So very sorry to hear this. I met Paul at the Edinburgh UKA do. We had a lovely chat and he was a lovely bloke. So sad and condolences to all his friends and family.  He will be sorely missed on UKA,

Yes, sad news. I followed the prose authors less than the poets, but I had for me that 'weefatfellow' was full of humour and lived somewhere between Glasgow and Edinburgh. My condolences too, to family and friends.

So sorry to hear the sad news. My deepest sympathy to Paul's family.
Andrea, if you are in contact with his daughter could you please inform her that his work is also on ABCtales.com to which he contributed alongside UKAuthors. I have shared the news of his passing with them.

Best wishes, Luigi

Oh I just stumbled on this terrible news. I was a big fan of his writing, he was hilarious with a great insight into human behaviour. I also met him at two Uka events. In London we all shared a table with both him and his wife and Mike and Lesley. We laughed all night.

It is very sad news. We have lost so many now. I still think fondly of Bozz and Mike is still in my phone contacts.

Very, very sad indeed. Condolences to his family and all his friends who loved him. A huge loss to UKA.
