Hi Richard

Please could you send me a pdf copy to my email address, I've lost so much poetry over the years and would be truly grateful to you

Thank you so much, Richard. I've not written anything for a while and I'm hoping my archives might inspire me, even if it's just revising oldies.

Ever thankful

Eira

A simple way to convert the pdf content to a word document can be done like this too:

Open PDF

Use Ctrl and A to Select All text

Use Ctrl C to Copy selected text

Open blank Word document

Then click Edit -> Special Paste -> Unformatted Unicode Text and press OK.

You now have all of the text in a word document that you can manipulate/copy/cut etc to your hearts content!!

Its probably safer to save copies of everything as you go on your PC and back it up to a cloud system online or external hard drive/thumb drive. I think the idea with this is to save old works that go back all the way to 2002 from the old site. I know I have most of my stuff saved going back to about 1998 but some offerings I posted on UKA between 2003 and 2015 were spur of the moment things that I didn't back up or save.

i recently found old files with work saved as webpages on thoughtcafe too, read many comments on thoughtcafe and it was very nice.

no, i don't mean safer, the way we downloaded and used the pdf link was simply an awesome way to keep a copy of all our interactions.
