here I logged in the other day, made some comments submitted old pieces but decided not to post anything, I don't write lately, I have nothing new, I finished the story in my head the one I posted parts here it is too demanding in English, however, so I guess maybe one day very short parts will be posted

She walks, face down

It is easier to deal with the knowledge in her head.
If she gives attention to detail of the stones
and foot-fall
she just might be able to keep walking.

She knows so many have walked this road
she feels it in her being.
It is an ancient road
but bears a heavy burden.

I see her there
sun gives light but can burn...
white stone fury / ancestral past.

Shoulders resolute
to unforgiving pressures.
She walks out her destiny
amid the whispers in her ears.

Hold fast my dear.

Things are changing.

I like your signature btw and I thank you for the poem which is not only beautiful but truthful, so many will relate to what you saw with your third eye about me, a poem that is specific but also talks about anyone that feels this world has indeed entered the twilight zone. Hopefully your poem will break this spell we are all fighting against, you know who and what tries to eliminate us and turn everyone into a zombie. Thank you! 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹

Great to see you back Nic. I am observing from a distance when I can. Checking everything is going ok and reading when I can but my life is very busy at the moment.

Seriously considering relocating back to Aberdeen to be nearer my new grandson. It will not make any difference to my contribution here but it does mean at present I am very snowed under with so much to attend to if I am going to move house again after a long spell in Edinburgh. 
I want to get out of the city now... and the North East, open spaces and sea air is calling me. Watch this space.
