I need to know when we can start posting poems and prose again.

I have my archives (about 250 poems) and some i am keen to repost with amendments to some to bring them up to date.

I hope and pray this will be a truly new start.

This last year has been so awful personally speaking, I am quite keen to put into writing feelings and emotions that I have submerged for the sake of family etc but now I am no longer constricted. 

Let's get the show on the road!

Hello Alison, lovely to hear from you. I hope you are keeping well. The last time we corresponded you were about to relocate; did the move take place? I had been continually clicking the UKA's icon and for ages I was told the site was under maintenance. Imagine my surprise this morning when I was able to access the site. I wasted no time and posted a poem that should be in the queue for tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Still need a WordPress knowledgable backend helper!

Need a sub-editor to muster up fiction/poetry challenges and to write/prepare things like WOTM, Latest member books/profiles. Choose and display frontpage content like picks, selected UKArchive submissions, stuff like that.

@ukadmin I got notification of this but I  haven't received a newsletter as such.

I sent the newsletter out yesterday at about 5 o'clock. It sends to 600 subscribers over a 24 hour period so as not to overload the servers and also not to be seen as mass spam attacks from our host etc so it sort of trickles out over 24 hrs. You might not have received it yet. Also, check your spam folders 🙂

Update:

I've just checked the newsletter stats and the delivery of 628 subscribers has completed so you should have received it now. If not, check spam folders. If not there, are you subscribed to the newsletter?

This all sounds very promising and interesting, Richard. I like this 'team' approach very much. Boy would Jolen be good for some of of these categories and she is so well liked here. I'll try to entice her! So glad to see you are back for the long-term and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good response. 😎

This has come as a real surprise. I’ve been here periodically since the site went off air. Shortly after UKA went missing, my entire web presence was hacked. Initially I found both events suspicious, and wondered if someone might have been responsible for both events?
In reality, I’m just so pleased the site has returned.
I’m here to help if that is still required? Equally, I’d be more than happy to resume as an ‘ordinary’ member.
