Miranda

repost.

I saw a seemingly new doll

In a dream of broken toys,

I saw a seemingly new doll.

I knew her name,

It was Miranda,

I knew her name.

In the pocket of her apron

I thought she had raisins.

In the pocket of her apron.

I used my pencil to take them out

And made a hole instead.

I used my pencil to take them out.

I tried to stitch the pocket

When I heard her voice.

I tried to stitch the pocket,

What’s your name little girl?
Do you love me?
What’s your name little girl?

I just told her my name,

Ι shouldn’t have tried to take them out,

I just told her my name.

For each raisin she lost

I’d get a freckle,

For each raisin she lost.

Miranda, the spotless doll.

Said for each stitch I’d get a mole.

Miranda, the spotless doll.
