You may have noticed that when you login / register on this site you get a little popup message that says something like 'this site is not secure'.

This is because we've not purchased a security certificate yet. Security certificates are issued by website hosting providers and are a relatively new way for websites to show visitors they are trusted.

there are different levels and you can read more about the ins and outs HERE

Here is a quote:

What a security certificate is

When you go to a site that uses HTTPS (connection security), the website's server uses a certificate to prove the website's identity to browsers, like Chrome. Anyone can create a certificate claiming to be whatever website they want.

To help you stay on safe on the web, Chrome requires websites to use certificates from trusted organisations.

So, in due course, when we know that the move from WABD to UKA has worked without any major hiccups! I will get a security certificate issued.

But for now, please be assured that the site is safe and secure to use.

thanks
