A Japanese verse form – 5 lines with 5/7/5/7/7/ syllables per line – it is better if enigmatic – think of a pregnant haiku 🙂
I originally had ‘will you still remember me” for the last line but decided upon the stronger ending – thanks for liking – the other tanka I posted has many possibilities of meaning -according to the reader’s disposition. 🙂
